Sarah will be signing books at the
SPCA's 2007 Christmas For The Animals Open House*
Thanks to the Fredericksburg Animal Hospital's hospitality, Sarah will sign books next door to the SPCA, at the Fredericksburg Animal Hospital, both days of the Christmas For The Animals Open House.
Saturday, December 8: 1pm to 4pm
Sunday, December 9: Noon to 4pm
Five dollars per copy of Sarah's book,
"Devoted To Dogs: How To Be Your Dog's Best Owner",will be donated to the SPCA.
Bring your gift list of dog lover (and cat lover!) friends. Let Sarah autograph gift copies personalized for good friends and beloved pets. Sarah's award winning book will entertain your devoted to pets friends while you help the SPCA with a five dollar per book sold donation.
Devoted to Dogs Jewelry will also be for sale: vintage pet art pins, hand-made dog and cat motif jewelry, and gifts for pet lovers. Ten percent of jewelry sales will be donated to the SPCA. For a pre-view peek at the jewels, please see our "Jewelry" pages.

On November 10-11 2007, the Capital City Cocker Club held Agility Trials, where many wonderful dogs enjoyed showing their skills and energy. "Devoted to Dogs:How To Be Your Dog's Best Owner"
has been awarded the Virginia Press Womens Association's
Best Non-Fiction (Instructional) Book of 2007.
Award ceremony was held on 20 April 2007 at The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, VA. The book celebrates dogs in training to be willing workers and obedient companions and as treasured family members. In accepting the award, Sarah Ferrell stated, "I wish to thank the many folks at dog shows and in dog classes who contributed their wise counsel and stories to the book's success."
